A domain name is your website address.  It typically begins with "www" and ends with extensions such as .com, .org, .net, .biz plus others.  All domain names are unique.

Why do I need a host server?

A web site provides a cost effective means of advertising your business, generating income, and providing information to potentially millions of web viewers.  Think of it as your electronic billboard that's available for viewing 24 hours a day.

What does it take to get a web site on-line?
This is typically a 4-step process: 1) purchase a domain name, 2) establish a host to store your web files, 3) create your web site files, and 4)  upload files to the host server.
